Liverpool madness.

So it was Charly’s 21st birthday party yesterday, and an amazing apartment in the city centre was rented for the night (Signature Living in Liverpool) complete with Jacuzzi-bath, PS3 with singstar, massive projector screen, a number of beer crates, bottles of wine and a lot of pissed up people.

Where to begin? Maybe the fish tank leaking into tesco express downstairs, or finding a bagpipes player to come off the street and play for everyone in the apartment whilst we danced embarrassingly, or the several bars and clubs we got through. No, the crowning glory of last night was cramming 4-5 people into a jacuzzi bathtub at the end, drinking the remaining booze and chanting ‘WEMBLEYYYYY, WEMBLEEEYYYY’ relentlessly into the morning. I’m not really all too sure what time it was when the bathtub debauchery began, but it must have been pretty late morning as it was daylight when we’d been out for a joint just before.

So messy like you wouldn’t believe, and as always there was a bit of emotion but nothing more than the typical drunken onslaught that is quickly forgotten. My oh my I’m paying for it today.

I voice my discontent with all political parties moreso by not voting today than by voting at all. All of the political parties are currently shit - I’ve studied politics long enough to know that.

From 1978–2011, CEO compensation grew more than 725 percent, substantially more than the stock market and remarkably more than the annual compensation of a typical private-sector worker, which grew a meager 5.7 percent over this time period.

How very inconvenient.

So I’ve seen The Pirate Bay is now blocked, courtesy of our friends the ISPs, the British Parliament, and the lobbyists behind the legislation. I have to say though, it has done very little to change anything. I already have a free VPN which thereby makes all of this irrelevant, and I vow to continue downloading in the face of privacy infringements because I fucking can.
